 Good old Games (GoG)
http://www.gog.com/en/frontpage/pp/972a ... 1295401b71
Basically a download service that offers classic old games, DRM free and xp and vista compatible, at low prices. Really worth it if you're planning to pick up Fallout 1 and 2 after all Satis.
It's still in public beta but you wouldn't notice that from the look of the site, it offers a ton of games already (and some for free, like 'beneath a steel sky').
Gamebanshee has a temporary discount code for the site too:

 | | | | Quote: GoG.com Currently in public beta and boasting a growing selection of games from years past, GoG (short for Good Old Games) will launch for real in 2009. What sets GoG apart from the rest of the crowd is its focus on classic games, such as Fallout, Unreal Tournament, Sacred, and more, all offered up for low prices ($5.99 to $9.99) and without digital rights management (DRM) that might prevent you from enjoying them years from now. Many games also include extras such as a PDF manual, icon art, wallpapers, MP3s from the game’s soundtrack, and more. Your account also serves as a social network, putting you in touch with hundreds of other classic game fans. | | | | |

Aaargh. I kind of want to get some of those games (the more because they don't pull the "dollar becomes euro" trick like most digital services), but then I realize I will probably not play them before, well, any time soon. With ME2 and Assassin's Creed 2 (and Starcraft) around the corner I'll be busy for a while. Mmm.

Yea, I bought that game a long, long time ago. The developer pissed me off, though, so i'm not especially happy with them. But hey, pick it up if you want to. It's not exactly the most polished game you've ever played.
