Post HL2 episode 2
Anyone got this? LOVING the game but I've come across what can only be a bug, Its the 'A mutual fiend' level'....

********************Spoilers warning******************************

The bit where you go down into silo 2, the hunters are attacking, you have to move the bucket under the stairs and crawl through. I get partway into the next room and it crashes. Every time.

Does anyone know if this is a known bug? Annoying the hell out of me, I wanna finish the game ffs!

Nah, its not that, its all up to date.

It looks like steam updated on tues, and a lot of people are now having crashes in that level. So its a matter of waiting.

One bad thing about being a game developer is that you can't really enjoy playing your masterpiece.

Bug is now fixed :D

Has anyone else finished Episode 2? i loved it. It was great to be back in the HL universe, shame that the 3rd installment will probably be so far away :(

Episod II was excellent, but to short...

The ending... Well, no spoliers here, but when you load up and make sure that you got all the ammo and stuff that you can carry, prepare to jump into the helicopter, and instead get an ending like this one...

It was a good ending, but still, Where is episod III? I want it now!!!!

Raagh...after reading this I feel like trying to install and play Episode 2 on my laptop while I'm here (at a place with internet). But I'm afraid I'd have to tune down graphics quality so much that it wouldn't be worth it.

Better wait until I can afford a better pc I suppose. But I still hate you all. :(

hey, long time no see :D

You would love it, agreed, the ending was just out of nowhere, and very powerful imho.

I've got it sitting in my Orange Box but man, I have so many games to play and like no time. When my school starts back up again in a week or two I'll seriously have no time. :(

I still haven't cracked the Orange Box. I'm playing the Supreme Commander expansion. I guess Orange Box is next once I tire of this one. HL2 ep2 first, of course.

I've finished HL2 episode 2. It was cool, I enjoyed it. Though to be honest it's starting to get a bit stale to me. I mean, it was fun, but though the engine still looks good it's starting to show some age. Also, the gameplay was fun, but a lot of it seems to be repeating itself. The end part (killing big stuff) was a change but...man...that was frustrating at times.

i could probably do one or maybe two more episodes before I'm totally burned out unless they start changing some stuff up and updating the graphics engine. Maybe I'm being too critical. :)

So you finally got around to play Ep2?

Ok, the gameplay is a bit predictable(except for the ending), but the feeling is still great, almost as great as WFA, but only almost!
