I would have gladly stabbed someone. I said this to my manager yesterday. It's not playing the game that leads to violence, it's us poor retailers constantly hearing "Got any spare GTA to sell? When will you get some?" I heard it hundreds of times yesterday; everytime I picked up the bloody phone, grrrr!

Either that or customer services; the poor guys. By 8.10am (after most of the stores had opened at 8 in our company) we rang through to trace our first preorder customer who hadn't had a receipt (yay for reward cards...). They'd already had 50 calls about it (though that's kinda low when you consider over 600 stores in the country). Every time I rang I was just like "hey, calling from West Brom.. you know what I'm going to ask" and you'd just hear this groan. They actually got more chatty as the day went on, trying to stave off the next phone call!

Oh and Greg got offered £10 if he 'pretended to ring up customer services to confirm the guy had a preorder'...
