Dude, a new Soldier of Fortune game is coming out! I loved these games! Extremely violent, yes, but there's something very visceral about pegging someone to death with an AK, then walking up to their body and seeing where their bullets landed. Or blowing off limbs. Anyway, I've missed SoF. It's been almost 6 years since the last one, apparently. Anyway, a new one is being made: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/soldi ... ws;title;7 I'm very very happy.

Haha, yes i remember SOF 1. Very fun, very unique (dismemberment) 
I dont think any other game is capable of making you better enjoy killing someone with a firearm. |

lol, yea. SOF2 was pretty good too... there's some special about taking an M60 an watching someone's body come apart in multiplayer. Anyway, apparently the developer won't be Raven this time but some unknown value developer.  That bodes very poorly.

Well, from the shots and interview or preview or whatever it looks like they might just pull it off. And if they do, i doubt they will be labelled as "value" developer in the future. Its all or nuthn. |

True. They may be trying to prove themselves...or improve themselves...or something. We'll see. I may have to wait for some reviews or a good demo. |
