Post Rock Band
First of all, let me just say that I'm more than happy with my copy of rock band and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. However, as I posted on my own website

Quote:
Well, seems Harmonix might be getting them selves in to a bit of a mess.

People who have gone out and purchased a brand new 'band in a box' set of rock band are complaining that their sets are not new. Everything from smudges and scratches on the guitar, to marks on the drum pads all the way through to replaced serial number stickers and worse yet - pre modded equipment.

Yes, that's right. People have been recieved pre penny modded editions of rock band. Unless Harmonix are penny modding their own equipment then something here is seriously not quite right. Here's a few links to get you reading.

oh, that's freakin' lame as hell. It's not like they're not totally making bank of that game... everyone I know that has a console has a copy. Not that I ever would, I have the same irritation with it as I do with guitar hero. But still, you shouldn't be screwing your customers like that, especially when you're obviously making cash hand over fist anyway.

Heh...that's a bummer. I guess that's why I never got into games that require "extra" equipment outside the standard controllers. Like those guns you could get for the Duck Hunting game on the original NES, if you remember those.
