If not, it basically says that the target date 'for now' is 2007 so don't get your hopes up for playing this game any time soon. However it will be demoing at the Leipzig games show (sometime in august i believe) so hopefully some new info will be around soon.

Spore planted on September 7, coming to PS3/360, PC, DS, and Mac, Wii.

hah...yea...until August when it'll be pushed back until "Spring 2009". In January it'll get pushed up to "Summer 2009". And, if we're lucky, it'll come out September 2009. And it'll be buggy as hell.

Spore was also due LAST september... hmm I'm noticing a trend here #cough# not to mention its 4 years since Sims 2... and they're now on about the same number of expansions that #1 was on AND I know there is a Sims 3 in development... *sigh* Come on, give us Spore first, pleeeeeeeeeease?

Or you can wait until September and get it for free with the game. This kind of backs up the whole milking everyone for every dollar possible idea. I'm starting to have really big doubts about Spore.

Looks like one reason it's taken so long may be because they're planning on releasing it on DS at the same time. Dual-platform development HAS to have slowed it all down somewhat.

Agreed. And the DS? What the hell? I could see PS3, XBOX360...maybe the Wii. But a DS?

I guess coz it's damn easy to get 'em online with the wifi, plus the stylus lets you just point and click. Nearest thing to a PC, control wise (though that would also lend itself to the Wii... have to check through our release schedule as that's where I saw it yesterday)

Nope its from Sporepedia. There are like 360000 creatures there, so i checked the first few pages and saw it there.

EA has started banning "pornographic" creatures from Spore. I wonder who's the least mature here, people who create this, or EA kneejerking by removing it. Besides, EA has said that it should be possible.
