This has been advertised quite a bit round my area (papers etc). Basically, you pay for your ammo and get cash every time you hit someone, but loose cash every time you are hit. There are also different game types with varying cash bonuses etc.

It's in beta at the moment, so I've signed up. Figured a quick blast for a £5 or something (depending on the ammo costs) wouldn't hurt.

I think it's bound to fail unless there's a free version (no cash for hits/kills). Otherwise you'll end up with your camping uber-lamz0rz and noone new will join the game because it's too damned expensive. I dunno about you but it takes me a couple weeks to become decent at a game... I'd hate for that couple weeks to costly me a bunch o cash.

Yeah, this is why I figure I try it in beta. See if I'm any good at it for minimal cost. No email yet though, so who knows if I'll even get in.

They seem fairly uptight against hacks etc, but that's still no guarantee that people won't just exploit things in game. Still, if I'm good then of course I'll play. If I get to rape people of their money then more fool them.
