List your most anticipated games for 2006
Let's make it a top 5...you can make it a top 10 if you want, of course. Try to go with games that are reasonably (but then, this is the games industry) certain to appear somewhere in 2006.
1) Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion(duh-uh)
2) Half-Life 2: Aftermath (no actual site yet)
3) Neverwinter Nights 2 (ditto)
4) Dark Messiah of Might and Magic
5) Splinter Cell: Double Agent/ Guild Wars: factions (joint 5th place)
I would have put Spore in, it's scheduled for the end of 2006, but I'm pretty sure there's no way it'll ever make that date. Still, very promising.
Show me yours, I showed you mine

yea, beyond that I don't really care. I wanna see what Huxley turns out like. Maybe AD&D online. Not much has me really excited though.

Looks like everyone's eagerly awaiting Oblivion, except for 11b who's not really into RPG's anyway afaik. GW: F is an expected second with a few GW players here, and HL2: Aftermath a deserved third.
I can't wait to see what Valve did with their abilities for this one...and it's gonna be HDR baby. Well, for me and Derf anyway Don't really know about the other vid cards here.

@satis yes. Blizzard recently pissed me off very badly. Our guild was on Mannoroth and the queue was getting ridiculous. Blizzard then offered a transfer off to a new server Mug'thul. Well, made this offer to like 4 other servers. The offer started on Saturday and was to end on Wednesday(I think). So we decided to transfer. Well, half my clan transfered early and by Sunday there was already a 1000 person queue on Mug'thol so they stopped transfers. Problem is, half my guild is still on Mannoroth. So we be cut in half by Blizzard. I contact tech support and they tell me to visit the forums. Go to the forums and a LOT of guilds had the same thing happen to them. Of course no word from Blizzard other than "all transfers final and you cant move back to your original server". I've seen this kinda of customer service before....when I played SWG. So f*ck Blizzard and their shitty servers. Im GW 4 life.
@Rinox I may get oblivion but my panties arnt wet over it.

I'm not really anticipating great games this year. Oblivion is probably nice but I don't really believe the hype. NWN 2 might be a nice snack to ease the waiting for Dragon Age, but not more.

Yeah, I never had an Elder Scrolls game disappoint me...ever. They often were infested with more bugs than my bathroom, but even that couldn't take away from their greatness, which is saying something.
@ 11b: that sucks...horrible client service indeed. Did you 'move' to GW with your entire clan or on your own? Just wondering.

Bleh most MMO support service sucks. UO, EQ2, WoW... they're all the same. Coz you're paying they think they can ignore you and you'll keep on paying. GM's in UO are apparently a bitch (i never had cause to run into one) and its far less hassle to sort problems out on your own or with friends than to bother petitioning one. GW service sucks too in my opinion, but at least in that game you only have people problems to deal with, due to the world not being persistant and being able to map out. Not like UO with its "oh no I fell through the floor, it won't let me cast recall... shit..."
