Post subject:  Far Cry Problems
Right, So I have a copy of Farcry.

I have an AMD 64 3500, GeForce 6600 GT and 1gig of Ram.

Yet, the graphics are poop, there's black textures dotted around and I don't know why.

I'm gunna go see what patches are availabe and what drivers are out for my card. If you have any idea what's causing it, lemme know :D

You definetely need to patch it. After you've patched it, if it still does that, you may want to reinstall the graphics card driver. I never had any issues like that with Far Cry.

Yeh its definately a patch problem, because i had the same, patched it and then it was fine.

Have they still called back that patch?

*googles*

Yeh i think so. It was patch 1.2. Apparentl theyve got some problems with it so at the moment theyve recalled it and you can only patch up to 1.1 not 1.33.
