hehe...we'll see how it turns out. Looks like I'll be buying Quake 4. :p Like that was really ever in question.

Great thing is they are already coding it using doom3. So it hopefully will be a short time before its released.

I do hope that it doesn't become like Doom 3, we already have one. The screens I've scene look to much like Doom 3 to me.

yea, it will. Quake has always been multiplayer-oriented. The screenshots I've seen already look much brighter than Doom3. Haven't seen environments, but they should hopefully be more expansive.

As for WFR....whatever shortcomings Q4 has, WFR will address. I may have to learn to map in Doom3 so I can be prepared.

They promised larger outside environments, I always like that a lot.

I am optimistic, with some real reserve. they got some of the better members of the community still: SS,ASniper, Rav, and Static.

I'll definitely give it a try. The only thing wrong with WFA was the community. The whinny bitches drove everyone away. It would be great if they all died from amoebic dysentary.

the WFA community is why I own clankiller.com. The little whiny elitist assclowns that styled themselves 1337 clanners forced me to become a clankiller, buy this domain, and put some whooping on their asses. Not that I could whoop them all, by any means, but I could hand out some ass kickings. It was very satisfying to put the pain on these little bishes.

Apart from the WFA stuff, did you guys see the Quake 4 trailer etc? Now that was some very promising stuff...the strogg are very interesting opposition with their hyrbrid things.

Mmm, I saw one with the entire process of 'making' the human main char into a strogg (with lots of gore, screaming and cutting) which was downright horror, but I can't find the damn thing anymore.

it's ok, but because of all the flashes between the video cuts it's hard to make up stuff from it. Still, you'll see what I mean with cutting and slicing I guess.
