I'm mildly enjoying a text-based RPG now, Dark Warriors. If you got 10 spare minutes now and then you can play it.

btw let me remind you that you can't really play it very intensively, it's really an 'inbetween' kinda game, or maybe i'm just doing something really wrong.

Jeej i've got a ref-point. You can buy stuff for them, but i just realised that you need a lot of points to buy something really worth it. But anyway: thx.

A word of advice if you intend to really play it: get in a clan that offers free healing. It saves a lot of money. I'm in RotW, they accept almost everybody i think :P

Oh and you can attack other players, so don't be surprised if you're suddenly dead. It's because somebody stabbed you in the back.

Aight I registered and joined your clan J, but how do I get any equipment? The inventory shows a helmet, some rags, a shield and a sword, but I don't seem to have them, and I barely have money to buy a dagger.

Uhm, well you barely have money, but you can spend it on buying equipment in the weapon/armor/ ... shops. In the beginning it's really a bit trying to get started with whatever you can get. If you lvl up a bit i can borrow you some things if you want, i haven't sold that equipment yet, don't have anything for lvl 1 though. I've started with buying a dagger and leather armor i think. You'll run out of energy very fast as you'll undoubtedly notice, but lvl-ing goes pretty fast.

If you need anything just ask and i'll see what i can do.

What class are you btw? I should have told this earlier, but i'm a thief and i'm currently thinking that mage is definitely the strongest class.

I think the 'powerranking' is like
1) mage 2-3) acolyte-archer (don't really know) 4) swordsman 5) thief

Btw i think you applied for the clan, you're not in the clan (yet).
I could kill you right now, prolly steal some money. But i'll leave you .. for now :twisted:

hint: put your money in the bank (when you don't need it ingame, or when you log off), there it's always safe

*poke* hehe i went for Archer. Found out about the tokens to get drinks for extra energy so i got 40 'turns' last night. woot! go me

I chose an acolyte (yeah, that's right...figured I wouldn't be a 1337 fighter for once), but I'm not getting this game! Too stupid :( at least I gave J some gold for referral. ;)

rofl ox its not hard. every hour on the hour your energy is replenished. While you have energy you can go city>forest and explore to gain gold and experience. Then at certain levels you can go buy new equipment if you have enough gold *pats* poor oxymoron

woot level 7, i pwn you ox! ;)
