BJ, I agree with you on the game becoming much harder with the patch installed.
Especially injuries: I'm drowning in them since I installed it. But on the whole i'm doing very good in terms of my team's capabilities. Like i said in a previous topic, I lead a 3rd division team into the Belgian top league, currently in 9th (of 18) place halfway the season, "exceeding the board's expectations".
My rep is now 'local'. Not amazing, but hey. I'm getting there. The main problem I have now is that my club's infrastructure and budget is way too low to attract most top Belgian players. (let alone foreign once) My max wages are 2000€/pw, hahaha. You do the math. I also have a relatively low amount of players, and I'm seriously below my wage budget. Which makes that I make mad profits on spectator income. (I just checked; my wage total is 15k € a week, that's laughable. I just hope the board adjusts the allowed wages to my profits next season.
If I see that there's not enough progress in the next two seasons I'll try and take over a major club, Anderlecht, Standard or Brugge. And try to go for European glory.
Otherwise I stick with Olympic Charleroi! 
I also selected the Chinese, S-African and American leagues to be available. The Idea is that I want to go on and win EVERYTHING on every continent.
But that might take a long, long time. No worries tho, I've played games over 25 seasons long in previous CM's.
