I'm still waiting for my first solid youth pull ever! I blame Suga for hogging all the good youngsters! 18-yr old guys, I'm on to you miss! jk
Had 2 other guys get called up for the national team; u-20 Jamaica and Macedonia. already 4 internationals now!
The ticket income will increase with 10% during this season, and the stadion expansion costs will double at the end. To give you the complete picture. The stadion expansions costs haven't been raised for ages, so they gotta make it run accordingly with the HT economy again. (I think it's cool that HT is so big that it actually has its own economics, and that prices can crash/rocket if something goes wrong.)

Lost my first match with 6-1.
It was expected though, but at half time it was still 1-1 so I had a little bit of hope.
I found a new match event btw, at least new to me: "The crowd was amused as Fred Cames-Pintaux of Bosapen used a few interesting tricks and dribbles to get into the penalty box. The finish wasn´t very amusing, though."
It's about time they add new phrases to the match report, the current ones are a little dull and few.
Oh and my youth pull was worthless again.

I now found out why those teams didn't have any match setups... they all appear to be teams without manager. And that's four of them, two lost 5-0 against two teams that do have managers, and two played against each other and that ended in 1-1. So now I'm 6th in my league, but I can't get any lower then 4.
Even if the two teams that drew against each other do have managers, I still can't demote this season.
I don't have any hope on promoting either off course, so this is just an inbetween cash-in season to build up a better team (I'm desperately in need of that).

4 bot teams?! jesus. I think that I haven't had more than 1 in any of my leagues so far, and it's not like I'm soaring the top of Belgian football. Well, I hope you'll still be motivated for the season, cos this can get kinda boring obviously. It's a wonderful opportunity to strenghten your team without any probs tho, like you said. And for trying out new tactics without worrying.
lol@ 6-1. That doesn't look too good no. Even tho the guy wasn't 10 times better or something. I easily won my first game 2-0 against last year's nr. 2..and jumped from weak to passable midfield at home, tnx to my new mids. Barrring serious accidents I should be a surefire candidate for nr. 1 again this season. YP was 17, but also crap.
Private Suga, report in on Rinett!

What does playing against bot teams do to your players? Do they get training? And I saw at a match report that supporters do go to the stadium, but are disappointed afterwards, so what does it do with my supporters? I already have an exodus after being kicked out of the cup and losing my first match (stelletje mooi weer supporters).

hehe...your players still get all the training they need, no worries. It's only when you yourself field less than 8 (I think) players and the match gets cancelled that you don't receive training. (or if you play with an illegal tactic, like 2-6-2 or something)
There will be less supporters at the games where you play a bot team, but you will continue to gain supporters nonetheless. The amount of supporters you lose/win each week is determined only by your league placing and results, iirc. So just less tickets sold, but it's still a good amount. And a boost in supporter club. What is it at atm? mine is at 950 I think.
Got kicked out of the cup as well, with my b-defense and a PIC, heh. The guy had a passable midfield , but was crap on all other accounts. I was good in defense, crap in attack and midfield. (weak mid) He won 3-0, exaggerated score but not undeserved. Bleh, no more free pics for me. With my 4 internationals I'll be rich someday anyhoo. These guys are all worth quite a bit. Between 400k and 2 million I reckon, depending on the player.
EDIT: don't forget that those bot teams can be taken over by new managers at the start of the second half of the season. i looked at your fixtures, and apparently you're playing 3 out of 4 of them at home now, which is kinda sucky cos you might be facing relatively tricky away matches in the second half of the season now. But a)there's a slim chance they'll all get a new manager and b) the teams they start with will be crap. Just make this a training season...you're training scoring right? In that case, get some 17-yr olds pronto. Inadequates even, those aren't very expensive and will be solid 18-yr olds by the end of the season. Cos these guys up front now are way too old to train well. You've got that passable trainer, now's the time to "use" him. Buy a batch of 6 inadequates, and try to get them cheap. Slowly replace the ones you got up front by them, cos they'll pass them by in no time. This is provided you're not deeper than 200k in the red. But in that case i'd sell the 31 and 32-yr old first and get some cash..you need to be training young guns as soon as possible. The 25-yr old guy is still ok for now...but in the end you'll need to get rid of him too. 25 and solid/excellent in his main skill isn't good enough. It's actually a dream for training young players: you know you won't win the league and that you won't relegate.
When buying young scorers, try to get some good specialties...forwards benefit a lot from head, quick or unpredictable specialty. In terms of side stats, try to get ok stamina and passing, passable is more than enough. Also, set pieces ROCK for a player with good scoring (ie forward of course)...you get the long shot feat, which can get you a lot of 'free' goals.
To summarize: 17-yr old inadequates, preferrably head/unpredictable/quick specialty. Ok stamina and passing if possible, passable/solid set pieces are a great extra. Sorry if I sound like i'm criticizing your team policy, but you'll need to train young guys to become stronger. And to get tons of cash.
lol, did a serious rant here, go tipsy typing!

Lol that's a big post, I'll see what I can do with getting inadequates. I'm still big in the red though (but no 200k).
I'm not sure this league can get new managers by the way, there are two leagues under this une.

I'm not sure to what lvl they can get in, but bleh. I'm sure they won't be a problem for you, like I said, they start with a weak coach and crap players just like anyone else. Want me to help looking for inadequates? Gives me something to do when i'm bored. (which can be often)

I think I'll first wait for my youth pull. It's time for a solid, so at least an inadequate should be very likely.

Hehe, k...good luck with school and stuff, hope graduation was cool!

AND I LOSE 1-0...ARGGHH
it's sucky cos I immedeately lost my 3-point bonus on the second-best team in my league, who I beat solidly last week. (2-0) Prolly the most undeserved loss I EVER had myself, sigh. Next time i'll crush my opponents, you just wait and see.
EDIT: I'm apparently the 19th-best team in division VI...out of thousands. So that makes it even worse for me. Looky here, number 19:
