I lost my qualifier today, 2-0. the other guy had a good team, but I certainly wasn't much worse, my counter kinda failed on me. Anyway; on the bright side: it's extra training and a good 75k € extra income...and I'm selling 2 excellent defs, so I'm hoping for a budget over 500k in a while, to buy a good mid or scorer. Or maybe a super-talent def.

But bleh; bad luck. I'll be in VI next year too. Let's hope winning everything, this time. YP was crap, too.

Wow that's bad! I really hope you'll be doing better next season.
There's not much news from me, I pulled a worthless youth player again this week, I kinda hoped for a decent one so I could sell him in the coming n00b buying madness.
I'm going to enlarge my debt again by enlarging my stadium next week, right in time for the new higher league.

my 17 year old excellent scorer is now formidable but he'll be 18 soon i suppose.
I have a few younger crappier players that i'll sell off start of next season, but there isn't a whole lotta gossip at my team.
Anyone else having trouble downloading info through HAM at the moment? or is that just me, it stinks not being able to see all my form and training changes!!

Looks like the guy who got demoted to out series will probably kick all our butts this year.
I'm almost at a 500k budget too , so i'll try and buy a couple of good players, probably midfielders or defenders. I'm quite good for scorers

Sucks about not promoting too Ox... But on the bright side, you'll most probably have another shiny trophy in your cabinet at the end of the season this way

Lol, Hattrick dumbed the hrf file sytem and now uses xml.
That means that old versions can't download stuff from Hattrick.org

grrrr poop on them!

Off course, a new version of HAM is already out, but I'm afraid you guys'll have some trouble with updating hehe.

Got the same prob Suga. I'm gonna download the latest version of HAM (with the xml usage) and wait for a while till a solution appears.

Bought a player with the money I made from selling the others, paid a whopping 600k. By far the most money I ever spent on a player. Anyway, this is him:

Sorry to double-post, but could be that the solution to the HAM problem is pretty simple Suga: I just went to http://www.lokesoftware.dk/ham/index.htm , grabbed the update there and it worked like a charm. So far, anyway.


Also, bought my 2nd (and last) formidable mid already 574k

Lol...got cash for reinforcements arathorn? Cos your midfield is a bit...crap. If you got a superb defense (like me) you can speculate on counters, but with a good attack you're usually in more problems. And is your new league looking doable?

I have looked to some team's last matches, not all of them had any scores for some reason, but I think I can manage to survive in this league. I just enlarged my stadium again, last season I was making only a little money, so this season I expect more profits, although I have a high debt again.
It's time for another solid youth pull, it's been some time, but currently no buying for me.

If they didn't have any scores they're probably new users who took over the club this season. This might seem unfair towards you (having to start a league lower ) but in the long run you'll have the edge. Up to a certain lvl (6 or 7) bot teams can get new users...of course, teams from higher divisions won't get new users, they just relegate a few seasons in a row.

Good call on enlarging the stadium...I'll do so too before the end of the season, with the upcoming doubling (!) of building costs. Won cup match easily, 0-3. I played a 5-3-2 with PIC for training's sake, which isn't straightforward against a weaker team (hard to score), but this guy was so freaking pathetic. lol. Next opponent is doable, but It will depend weteher I field my A- or B-team methinks.

Training went ok, star player is now a brilliant defender (worth 2.5-3m €), and two potential u-20 internationals (Macedonian and Jamaican) went to passable. Form is ok, and I'll need it cos I'm playing my main rival of last season sunday!

They're gonna double the cost? Didn't know that, seems like I did idd choose the right moment...
I got kicked out of the cup myself, lost 3-5 I believe (or 2-5), but my stadium was better filled then with my friendlies last season, so financially I'm still happy.
My goal for this season is to stay in this devision, not too ambitious I know, but with my current squad it's the best I can get.
Still waiting for my first solid youth pull in weeks.
