Nooo!! 2-2! And I was way better dammit! I had a better ball possesion and way higher ratings, my opponent didn't even seem to have any special tactics.:( Bah, only three points ahead on the number two and three, and I thought this would be easy round to get some quick points.

lol, yeah, damn unlucky :( My remedy is: play more defensively...preferrably with 5 guys at the back ;) :P hehe No, but seriously, that sucked. Shit like this happens, let's just hope not to me this season. On the bright side, you're SO still gonna promote, but i can understand that you're a bit careful after what happened last season, hehe. :)

Well, I pulled the same trick with someone else earlier this season, so I shouldn't have the right to compain, but it still sucks. And three points ahead is not that much, if the other two keep winning everything (wich I think they will), and I screw up two more games...

True, things can change really quick in HT, because of the relative rareness of draws...:( Better pump up your goal difference a bit tho, right now nr. 2 has got a slightly better one. On the bright side, your fixture calender for the second part of the season rox0rs. :) Oh, and make sure you play a friendly each week arathorn...until you get a decent coach there won't be much training effect anyway, but still not good to waste training for 3 players. (assuming you train scoring and use a setup with three strikers)

Maybe it was cos you were on a holiday, dunno. Don't wanna sound whiney, just saying. :)

Welcome back, and awh @ birthday, hehe. He could function as a backup-winger i suppose, but you're prolly better of selling him. Because he's 17 you might get a relatively good price, and you could then pick up an equal older winger, if necessary, for very few cash...the market for wingers is pretty low.

In short: sell that guy! :)

Time for a weekly update :)

Won my game, but it was a lot less smooth than I expected. :/ 1-2 was the final score. My midfield was better than his last week, and my 2 inner mids had both gone up a lvl in form, so I expected to dominate the battle, but it turned out I didn't...reason were simple really: I had chosen my excellent winger with wretched playmaking over my solid one with inadequate playmaking. (he's Quick and it was raining, that's why) Add to that the fact that he had home advantage and it's not really a wonder he was better. Ah well, survived it without too many problems. Still 2nd.

ratings:

Team Attitude: Normal
Tactic: Counter-attacks
Tactic skill: formidable

Midfield: poor (old)
Right Side Defence: world class (old)
Central Defence: titanic (old)
Left Side Defence: magnificent (old)
Right Side Attack: passable (old)
Central Attack: inadequate (old)
Left Side Attack: passable (old)

So, what's up with everyone else? :)

EDIT: youth pull was total crap...YS still inadequate

Won 2-0 against the smame muthaphuckas I drew against last week, but one of my midfielders got injured for two weeks and next week I have a match against the number three and away, so this is not the right moment.
It's gonna be a very thrilling season again, a bit too thrilling to my liking.

My youth pull was worthless again off course.

my youth pull was crap, and i lost pretty dismally aswell.
Didn't have time to reset my team, and it sucks not having a working version of HAM.
should win next weeks game though, against the bottom of the ladder :)

Heh...methinks Suga is obsessed with the Olympics and the Thorpedo ;) lol. Whooped your Van Hoogeband's ass good Arathorn. :P ;) *doesn't mention the fact that there are no decent Belgian swimmers :P *

I think you'll promote easily this year Arathorn...you're by far the best team in your series. And you seem to be having an injury problem Suga..4-5 man out if iirc :o

Ehm yes, van de Hoogeband is from PSV, so off course he sucks, not as much as people from the football branch of PSV, but still.
