Bah, I hate you Arathorn me, i lost once more 2-1 away...but i was the better team, again. My lack of good offense is really starting to screw me over. Got myself 2 solid forwards up front and still have a horrible attack, ah well.
On the bright side; i got myself that solid coach i always wanted, i should be starting to see great training advances now. Finally lol.
If you manage to win promotion, Suga will be the only one among us that failed to do so yet hehe

FINALLY, another win, and a nice one too. 4-0 win over the nr. 3 in the league. Got lucky that his (great) keeper fell out early in the game though. But on the other hand, one of my strikers was sent off and one of my best defenders is out for three weeks. He's also the captain and was in solid form, so that sucks monkey balls.
Here's the report:
FC Rinoxia
Player rating and Team formation
Team Attitude: Normal
Tactic: Attack on wings
Tactic skill: inadequate
Midfield: poor
Right Side Defence: excellent
Central Defence: excellent
Left Side Defence: formidable
Right Side Attack: weak
Central Attack: poor
Left Side Attack: inadequate

Player rating and Team formation

Midfield: wretched
Right Side Defence: passable
Central Defence: solid
Left Side Defence: passable
Right Side Attack: excellent
Central Attack: passable
Left Side Attack: outstanding
Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and FC Rinoxia Arena saw a crowd turnout of 9911. Rinoxia had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Gu-ni - Berthier, Colomer, Remmen, Jaarsveld - Chamlou, Halmetoja , Santa Ana, Tully - Matei, Thiery.
gozers had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. They fielded: Lodders - Coulombeau, Pouplier, van Wolde, Oroval - Lerolle, Goldsteen, Evers, Aletten - Rance, van Steenbergen.
Rinoxia were mostly trying to use the flanks for their attacks. gozers had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially in the 15:th minute when Wannes Coulombeau came up alone against Jin Gu-ni who managed a block. The referee showed Rinoxias Zac Thiery the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The gozers player was Ferry Lodders who had to be helped off the pitch, unable to finish the game, but Frans Van Casteren came in to finish the match. Some beautiful plays on the left side of the field resulted in a 40:th minute goal by Markku Halmetoja for Rinoxia, putting them ahead 1 - 0. A bit later, a magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Rinoxia´s Paul Tully putting the lead up to 2 - 0. When Zac Thiery made yet another studs first tackle, in the games 42th minute, the referee was obliged to book the Rinoxia player for the second time, sending him off the pitch. Rinoxia made a substitution in the 44:th minute. Michel Berthier limped off the field and was replaced by Michael Lannerhall. Almost all the way down to the corner flag Paul Tully somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for Teodosie Matei who struck for 3 - 0. Rinoxia were given a penalty in the 45:th, neatly put away by Markku Halmetoja . 4 - 0 for the home side. By now Rinoxia were drawing the troops back in order to defend their lead. The referee showed Rinoxias Gijs Jaarsveld the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The teams went for a half-time break at 4 - 0. Rinoxia held the ball, with a clear 58 percent possession rate.
A couple of quick and successful challenges, followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area after 53 minutes might have resulted in another goal for Rinoxia. However, Frans Van Casteren made a spectacular save. In the 63rd minute Rinoxia´s Teodosie Matei tried to nail the coffin shut, but the shot rebounded off the bar to fall behind the net. With 71 minutes played Juan Santa Ana could have brought this one home for Rinoxia, had his hooked ball gone in, but it went just a bit too high. Rinoxia, bringing the final ball possession rate to 60 percent, dominated the battle.
The most dominating Rinoxia player was without a doubt Gijs Jaarsveld. Michael Lannerhall on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating gozers player was without a doubt Teun van Wolde. Frans Van Casteren was a disappointment, however. The match ends 4 - 0.

Hehe, using a more attacking formation after all?
You see the results.
My game is tonight, my opponent has a decent attack but his central midfield and central defense suck hard, so it's gonna be good old 3-4-3 with attack through the middle again.

Hehe, actually it was a 4-4-2 with offensive wingers, not THAT attacking. Problem is that, even with 3 inner mids,my midfield is about as good or even better than 80% of all teams in my league, ruling out decent counter-attacking, so i gotta whip out a 4-4-2 sometimes. I attacked over the wings today cos he had bad defense on the left and right, and put my wing backs on "defensive". Seems to have worked very fine. I see you're up 4-0 atm Arathorn, promotion is gettiong closer every day aye!

Aye!
Beat the suckas 6-0, it's almost getting boring.
It's really weird that I can kick evrybody's ass with only a good offense, and crap midfield and defense, but you won't hear me complain.
Oh and the stadium was full again, but my sponsors are still irritated.

I would think about expanding the stadium if i was you, you got a lot of crowd each home game, no need to let that extra income go to waste (i reckon it'll be 14k ppl if the stadium is big enough).

Yeah I already did that some time ago, although that was quite a modest expansion, this is actually only the second match where my stadium was filled.
If the next home match has a good attendence again I will expand a second time.
I only just noticed in al my euphoria that I have two injured players, but luckily that's only for one match.

Is this normal? My second goalie suddenly transformed into a central defender?

Hattrick Manager. It doesn't really matter, because he's shit anyway...
I'll draw a keeper this week.

Hehe...are you training on defending? If so, it's very possible that he gained a slight defending raise (even players that don't actually get the training, like forwards, receive tiny, tiny bits of training)

I did stamina training the past few weeks. Since that player is utter crap, being least crappy at goalkeeping, he got less crappy on stamina.
I have a difficult match today, against the number two, he's got better ratings then me (but I'm #1 and he #2 and that must have a reason), and I'm missing one of my best players.
Not that it really matters if I loose, I would still be on 1, and I won't spill points in the other matches of this season, but I'ld like to keep my unbeaten in a row record.

Anybody up for a friendly? I won my league game today 3-1 mrgreen: My best player was on a full three stars and the lowest was two stars, so i'm slowly moving up in the world, i'm starting to sell some of my b players off now, for some half decent money too! I'm still stuck at solid though (youth squad) I have the feeling it's gonna take AGES to get to excellent.
One of my good midfielders got injured again! *rolls eyes* I'm desperately trying to bring up my playmaking. What is a good thing to train after that? I'm thinking maybe defence, and i'd just play with the 4-4-2 formation, i suck at most other formations lol.

Hehe, good job on winning your game, for starters! No relegation fear for you aye. Is excellent the highest youth squad lvl btw? I don't invest in it so I wouldn't know.
What to train after playmaking depends on where you feel you need to improve, and in which position you've got the most young players, cos they train so friggin fast! If your team has bad stamina overall, maybe train stamina for a few weeks...it trains really fast (1-2 weeks for an increase) and the entire team, but it does lower your players' forms.
I hear ya about good midfielders getting injured btw...same here: my star midfielder hits solid form, and bang, out for two weeks. Sucks. I lost my game today too, 0-2, but made some good spectator cash because it wasa derby. If I win next week's match i'm virtually certain of not relegating, in this very crappy season so far. I'm, in essence, one of the two best teams of the league, but had so much bad luck that it's almost unbelievable. But there's always next season aye!
I also hired me 9 assistent coaches now, because my team had such persistent dramatic form. It's slowly getting better now.
