Hehehe, ok...slightly confused there.
Pev, how do I buy and download games on Xbox live? Do you use credit card to pay or something? Cause I want to play Braid but it's not in stores and I can't seem to download it online...so I probably should go through Xbox live? Can you buy indie games on there?

yeah you have to go through xbox live. You can buy Microsoft points in stores (£17.50 or equivalent in euros for 2100 points; most games are between 500-1200 points) or purchase them online with a credit/debit card in either 1000, 2000 or 5000 denominations (costs something stupid like £42.50 for 5000). They just get added to your gamertag and redeemed whenever you 'purchase' a game online.

If Braid is a full feature game, you won't be able to download it on Xbox live.
The Xbox live arcade service has games from Indie devlopers and small time developers, whilst also including games from the original Xbox. Also, hi-def movies too, but if you download them you can only watch them once, and you have 24 hours to finish watching them before they lock them selves
The games are forever though.

It's an indie game. I just found this on the website:
Braid is a puzzle platformer available now on Xbox Live Arcade.
So I guess that's where I'll get i then, like you said. Apparently they're also working on a pc version, but meh...platform seems like a good Xbox game.

Just to say; thanks to everyone who recommended Forza 2. It's fun, kinda casual and holds middle ground between realism and arcade really well. Good stuff.

Soon you will get to the races where some cars are goof for some tracks and not that good for others. So if you cant beat a track then it means you need another ride.
For instance if the track has lots of curves and breaking then you are better off with a car that doesnt have that high max speed but can accelerate very fast and vice versa with the long stretches of tarmac.
Oh and turn off some of the helpers, theres no fun with driving every assistance on. Leave the abs though, thats actually quite useful and when driving the american "4 wheel rockets that cant make a turn even if they were clued to the ground" cars you better turn on the TCS too.

haha...yea...TCS is pretty much required if you have a car with more than 500hp. :p It is a lot of fun. I got through most of the tier racing and was starting to do professional races when I got kinda bored. My garage is just completely full of all kinds of cars, though.

Yeah lots of cars. My saab though isnt that good in the game, with no mods its like a brick on shopping cart wheels.

Heh, I'm still riding a Golf GTI so don't expect me to crack anything remotely superfast just yet.
