 Sims 2
anyone playing it? I've been going at it for a while, and i'm pretty much lovin' it. Details, you can't even begin to imagine. :O My first, "me"-sim is already dead, but I managed to reproduce nonetheless. Now I'm continuing with my daughter Shakira, currently looking for a good job. Bleh.
Anyone else playing this game? Oh, and check this pic out, got a smile on my face.

first, let me say http://www.ctrlaltdel-online.com/index. ... &date=last (you might need to go back one if you get this late)
Anyway, yes I want this game. The first sims was great. And this one is apparently greater.

lmao, gotta love that pic ox!
Yeah i'm playing it, and pretty much addicted too
I've already attempted a sim of me... with a pretty crappy likeness, so i'll try another one later on!
It's more than just greater mole! It craps all over normal sims. So much more stuff to do!
btw ox, the best cheat is the turning aging off cheat... and apparantly there is already a nude patch out, i should go looking for it!

You won't see me anywhere near that stupid game.
That's one reason why EA should go bankrupt. That, and killing Westwood.

Meh, I'd only turn of ageing cheats etc once i really was bored with the game. Cheating sucks untill it comes to getting more life from an old game.

Sims rule! And that comic pretty much expresses a few feelings Mole Thankgod i didn't have to go to the store (I...ordered it )
lol@ own sim suga! Like I said, mine is dead (:() so I can't take a screenshot of him anymore, but 'ill prolly make a new one some time and make sure I photograph him...make sure to take a pic of "you" of you get down to creating one. (and everyone of you closet sims players here )
On the one hand I am tempted to use the non-aging patch (so you wouldn't have to stress to make something of your life), but on the other hand it's one of the charming things of the game, the growing/up aging thing. I think i'll just stick with my elixir of life for now!! I LOVE the reward-aspiration item things. I did have some...accidents with them.
Anyway, SO much to do, there's really way too much detail and options, this is gonna take a while before we found out everything there is to do :O

haha, I can see the point in that then. And your dad is a wuss, or likes to build houses. One of my sims just got killed. Ah well...at least my other sims will get a good inheritance!

oooh my partner pleaded with the grim reaper for my life last night was cool as!!! He won thank god!
I've got the aging on now, i hadn't really used the elixer or life until now, but the aspiration thingies do kick ass.
If you have kids, and you can't be bothered teaching em the long way, get the adult to use the thinking cap... then make smart milk, and it's twice as effective, handy as hell. You can teach em to talk, walk, and crap, in once short sitting!!!!
*end sales pitch*

hey, 2 things.
One, if you plead with death, do you live as a zombie?
Two, how long does a sim live gameplay wise?

1) depends if you win or not! lol, the "me" sim died, and the grim reaper showed up, i got my hubby to interact with the grim reaper and "plead with" him. They play a little game of choose the right hand thingy, and luckily enough he won, so they both go back to normal life. It's only happened to me once, so i'm not sure of any other outcomes. People can come back as ghosts though if you keep their grave in your backyard.
2)Gameplay wise is very hard to tell... you can speed up and slow down time, and delay aging or stop it all together. Basically a sim can last as long as you want it to!

Ok at 2, but at 1 -
It's rock, paper, scissors, is the name of the game I'm guessing. But A little history lesson:
After the second expansion of the sims, reasoning with death and winning would result in zombie you being alowed to live. Dieing causes ghost to appear on the same floor of your urn/gravestone. Little known trick: Kill the handyman, get him to change lightbulbs untill he gets shocked and dies. Thatway, he becomes a ghost, and as such lives in your house, repairing things at night time. For free. But hey, I'm a sims 1 junkee, so it's not really related.
So If they live as long as you want it to, is it like... hmmm
let's say how many sims on average could you get through in one day? or is it more like 3 days? or a year? or what? lol.

lol, you people are freaks. *sigh* I played the first sims for a bit. Then got really bored. I don't imagine sims2 would keep me entertained for much longer than the first one did.
