Aight, so I'm bored and need a new game. I'm torn between:

Just Cause 2 (still full price)
Metro 2033 (still full price)
Stalker: Call of Pripyat ($20, but I still feel burned by Clear Skies)

Recommendations?

I've heard that it was like the first STALKER....really awesome but with some big problems. Plus set in Russia with mutants.

I voted metro too...because it's the game I would be most likely to play. You may also want to consider Dawn of War 2 + Chaos Rising expansion. They're boyh supposed to be a lot of fun and the Warhammer 40k universe is brutal and cool. AND it's on a discount for the double pack this weeked on Steam:

Yeah. Still, that doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad game. You couldn't build in MoW either, or Company of Heroes. :)

Fail. You can indeed build in CoH.

And MoW is very detailed when it comes to loadout and tactics, but I doubt DoW2 satisfies in that department. :)

Oh, yeah, true. /slaps himself. The base building of CoH wasn't exactly comparable to the traditional RTS base building though.

That's probably true, but I found a significant amount of fun in organising defenses. Sandbags, barbed wire, tank traps, mines, AT guns, MG bunkers, mortar bunkers... and best of all 24 pounder howizer! :)

heh...I appreciate the input. As you may notice from the poll, I'm looking for an FPS, so I don't think DoW qualifies. Actually, if I were feeling the RTS bug, I'd probably get supreme commander 2. The first one was really good, in my opinion... kept me interested through all 3 campaigns and the expansion.

Anyway, I may get Metro 2033 then.

Judging by your steam issues I'm guessing you got Metro? :)

haha, yea, I got Metro 2033. So far it's pretty decent, though I'm not very far into it. I'll probably post more about it as I get a better feel for the game. So far, it's bug free, atmospheric, and very scripted.
