Finally, ive gone ahead and purchased HL2. Im currently updating it while at the same time getting Lost Coast *is that the name.... yes*.

Cant wait to get my teeth into HL2. Will move on to LC once i complete.

You started HL 2 yet? High res, max AA and everything? Must be quite the threat, hehe...when I think back of HL2 I feel all fuzzy, especially the physics cannon. It's not often you get to play a FPS with a "new" element like that.

I picked up the grav gun and used it extensively in Ravenholm. Its 'ok' from a functional point of view.

Those creeps that jump and climb on buildings are really scaring the shit out of me. Then again, so is everything else that moves in Ravenholm. *shudder*

Supplementary:

Played on the best CSS server ever the other day at about 2am. There were about 5 of us CT's against 20 knife-only-bots on Dust. So fun. It added a whole new side to CSS. It was like killing zombies. The only real weapons for the occasion were either the SAW or the pump action.

lol, I love shotties. And knives. When I'm going crap, I often go knife-only: nothing but armor and a knife. And some flashbangs.

I then go for the surprise effect and jump unto ppl and jam a right-click knife stab in their heads. That usually fails, but it's sheer pwnage to own a gun-wielding dude with nothing but knife. You should see the looks on their faces when they see me rush out with my knife, they're usually too stunned to react immedeately.

Ever killed someone with a flashbang/smoke btw? They do 1 dmg to an unarmored opponent if you hit them on the body.

So erh, what about tuesday evening? 20pm for me, 19pm for you? On that sever I gave before.

I kinda never rely on the knife, other than running and maybe 1on1's where primary and secondary mags are emptied in a close-encounter spray fest. (Which as long as the other dude runs out of ammo too, i usually win...rarely.)
