Getting into it a bit more and it seems as if the negatives are starting to spring up.

One bad thing is that the body language and behaviour of the suspects is rather innaccurate. For example, one time, i ordered my team to 'bang 'n' clear' a room with a suspect inside. We all got in, the suspect was clearly startled, me and whole team were shouting at him to 'comply' while aiming al our guns at him, so what does he do? He kind of looks at us all, with his gun in hand it seems as if hes surrendered, but then he runs about 2 steps to the right, stands up straight, and like CLint Eastwood in a western film, pull the quickest chest shot on me ever seen. He could only pull of the one shot before me and the other team all pumped him full of .45 JHP. So that was a bit ... odd.

Secondly, the AI of the team is lacking when it comes to covering exits of the room. You order them to 'cover' when in a room, so what do they do? They all turn to face the walls and point their guns to the floor.

2 major points that are denting its playability quite severely.

The duvel brigade?
Three men and a pink elephant?
The "too-lazy-to-get-up-and-arrest-the-town-drunk" squad?

*sigh*

I'm so bored.

lol Duvel Brigate.

*googles*

BELGIUM:
1st Special Reconaissance Company
LRRP's
Para-Commando Brigade (3 battalions plus an artillery battery)
Escadron Special d'Intervention of the Gendarme Royal (ESI)

So yeh, whatever that means.

If there was a Duvel brigade, ppl would be commiting crimes en masse around here. And apart from tax fraud, they don't. :)

And the 'special ops' police squad around here is just named 'Speciale Interventie Eenheid' or SEI. Translates as Special Intervention Unit/Squad. Just a bunch of supposedly elite policemen. Kinda like SWAT, but less military-style. Less guns around these parts than in the US, so less need of going all-out I guess.

I knew there was something wrong with my findings. Why would Belgian SWAT need an artillery battery?

Blow open the gates of the Duvel factory? Incidentially, the Duvel factory is right next to a fortress used in WWII, infamous for being one of the few concentration camps in belgium. That's where the Nazis executed resistance members etc. Scary shit.

I guess no one's surprised I know the surroundings of the Duvel factory so well. :P

Breendonk? wtf? Is that supposed to strike fear into the hearts of the infidels?

"I'll send you to fort breendonk!"

On a sidenote, the US army headquarters in Frankfurt (before it got shut down) was based in an old chemical factory...or where an old chemical factory was, or something. Point being, they used to manufacture zyklon b or something there during WWII.
