that whole situation is pretty messed up. Ultimately, it's the fault of the Chinese government, though blaming apple and the other companies that outsource there isn't too far out either. Or the US government for not imposing import tariffs, though that's got its own set of issues. It's pretty sad when the government controls the people, and not the other way around. China is perfect example of how greed and corruption can crush a people. I suppose they're not the only ones... Mexico and many South American and African states do the same thing. Though Americans do suffer some under our government, ultimately they are under our control. Blah, anyway, I think blaming Foxconn or Apple is short-sighted. The real problem is the Chinese government. The question is, what do we do about it? |
