That's amazing, I'd love to be able to do that. It's like watching Assassin's Creed! |

This probably tops his craziness http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 227308929# The first 2 minutes are kinda slow, but keep watching. It gets insaner. ![]() |

Watched that one before. The thing that really gets me isn't so much that they can train their bodies to do this, but that they can train their minds. I'd be way too wimpy to attempt half those jumps/climbs even if I knew that it was possible. |

I wish I had that kind of upper body strength. It'd be awesome if they had parkour classes on offer around here. I'd totally take them. Though I'm with Pev on not wanting to fall to my death. |

I think they mostly have a great strength-to-body ratio, if that makes sense, not necessarily outrageous upper body strength. It's the same with world-class rock climbers...they're actually pretty puny when you look at them. And Parkour is heavily dependent on gymnastics which I hate. ![]() |

Haha, are those two remarks related or is the second one just a general jab? ![]() http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parkour

Just from watching you can tell a lot of it is embedded in gymnastics, or at least related, particularly when he's swinging between the bars on that climbing frame. Another problem is that over in the UK there are relatively few places that you could probably find that would be suitable for parkour. Obviously it's a case of make an obstacle out of everything but there are limits for even the best of them ![]() ![]() |

Yeah, they're strong guys but at a certain point, strength becomes a disadvantage because you put on weight. They have just about the right ratio for what they need to do. Oh and Ox, my Monkey Man pisses all lover your pussy free runners. ![]() |

Hehehe. Pev, the Armitage brothers are some of the best parkour dudes around and use Britland, check it out. ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vjco3boD ... re=related Not as spectacular as the other vid, but some of their stuff is amazing. Like hanging horizontally from a traffic sign. ![]() |

Hehe ok well the train station was definately in england, it was a GNER train! rofl. Those guys do some cool stuff, a little more showy in some ways than the other vids, in that they do a lot of twists and flips whereas the others seemed more interested in the actual getting around (which is the whole point) but that stuff is impressive. |
