 Yanko store
This is kinda neat, though probably a bit more commercial than what I usually post. :p It's an online store for some neat design stuff. Some crazy and cool stuff in here for anyone interested in this kinda crap.

Some pretty good stuff on there, like that kickass magnetic spice rack. I'd totally buy that. But a lot of other stuff on there suffers from design disease: it costs way too much. 160 bucks for that shiny pillow?!

Along those same lines, ever seen thinkgeek? It's crap for geeks...and not usually so expensive.

And those magnets are STRONG. They will fuck you up if you get your fingers between two.

I think i use these magnets in class (or similar ones).
I enjoy putting 2 of them together and let some kids try to get them apart. And fail miserably
And yes it hurts like hell if some piece of your skin gets caught in between, i've seen it with a pupil with tears in his eyes.

I have to admit I have fucked up and gotten my fingers between a couple of them. There are so damn many of them. They are everywhere. Unfortunately, I kinda broke one of them and now I feel bad. (well I felt bad when I did it too).

yea, it takes shiny to break a rare earth metal magnet. Anyway, they're awesome. I use them to stick shit to the refrigerator. I don't know about you, but all that crap with cheap magnetic backs just fall off. Not with super magnets!
I'd like to use it to attach a dildo to someone's bumper some time, just for laughs.

Not that I'm an expert, but metal dildos seem kind of...uncomfortable. Having said that, I'm sure they exist and that Satis probably has an entire set (chrome, nickel, tin, steel, titanium etc).
And omfg they released an upgrade for the retro gaming emulator
http://www.thinkgeek.com/electronics/retro-gaming/bfc7/
Emulation Software Available for: MAME (retro arcade games), Amiga, Atari ST, Commodore VIC20/64/128, Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, NeoGeo and more
ZOMG. Imagine me playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (NES) playing on the commuting train.

TMNT on NES was a damn HARD game. I remember that defusing the bombs under water was giving me nightmares at first, soooo difficult.
I've played a good number of NES and SNES games on emulators in the past, nostalgia ftw!

I never owned a NES, so no nostalgia gaming for me. PC, Sega Genesys and Playstation 1 are my old-school gaming platforms. I wish someone would remake the Genesys version of Shadowrun. I remember a couple years ago I installed a Genesys emulator and played that game... it's still pure awesome.
