 Thongs banned in town
As well as see-through clothing. America the free. I'm not a fan of thongs - in fact I don't like my gfs to wear it - but to forbid people to wear it is just...wow.

What? All of them.
I'm wondering how the Ox-harem looks.

OMG that is so wrong! I mean I'm sorry but I am repulsed by panty lines. The thong usually is a good solution to not having panty lines. Seriously, would they prefer we go commando? Don't get me wrong I totally dig boy shorts, but, there are just some outfits the choices are commando or a thong/g-string or else everyone knows what you are wearing.
My coworkers wear non thong panties and I am constantly grossed out! They walk by and all I see is panties. Now granted that is partially because they have not come to terms that they are larger than a size 6 panty but come on, to me that is WAY more offensive. Ick!
They'd just have to fine me an awful lot I guess.

Wait, how did you extract that pic from my secret holiday stash?!
And no, I don't like granny pants. I believe there's also something called regular panties.
Don't really see what the big deal with pantylines is anway. As long as a woman's wearing a pair of jeans or a similar fabric they usually aren't much of a problem. And even if not, they're just, well, lines. It's exactly the same thing as bra straps showing or poking through (which is pretty much always the case) and I never heard anyone complain about that.

panty lines are just tacky
It's like chicks wearing colored underwear under white clothes so they show through.

Thats because at that point guys think "boobies, yeah, *drool*" and any constructive thought has been succesfully suspended.

Ox, I would say those panties are not "regular" panties and more like cheeky (form of boy short) panties. Which I do like regardless that they tend to show some panty lines.
As for bra straps showing. I personally feel that is equally tacky. They make strapless bras for a reason. Or simply don't wear a bra.
I asked around some extremely prude people and they say they hate thongs because they show. I presume they mean along the muffin top type thing where ladies do not wear the proper size pants and or shirts. I find that to be also very tacky.
Basically, under wear should be just that, under your clothing. Not to be the spot of attention. But that is my personal belief, and remember for as odd a person I am, I am still a Southern American, so I have been raised in traditional "values" admittedly that are not the norm in more modern times.

Heh...thankgod men don't tend to wear tight trousers (well, most men) so when they gain weight it doesn't all of a sudden spill over in every direction. I guess putting aside a pair of pants that doesn't fit anymore and buying a size bigger one can be quite the psychological hurdle for many a woman.
But @ the panty lines/bra straps discussion, I guess I just don't think that having them show through clothing (or just show, like bra straps) is all that tacky. Sure, it still needs to be a tasteful overall picture, but I'd say I rarely ever give it a second thought when I see either on a woman. Besides, aren't those strapless bras (not to mention going bra-commando) pretty much out of the question for women who are 'well endowed'? Not that I'm an expert or anything.
Dunno why I never really got into the whole thong thing. Probably the same reason i never got into the whole brazilian wax thing. Who cares about panty lines or a few hairs? As long as a woman takes care of herself with a little bit of style and doesn't sport a huge moustache, it's all the same to me.
/me prepares for the Satis abuse and/or pics of hairy chicks after these remarks

Well Ox, I respect that you don't find it tacky. However, about the larger women and strapless bras etc. Yes, some women can not go braless really, but they do make bras of every type in every size. I am by no means huge but I have a pretty decently sized bra and I still have strapless bras in all the necessary colors. Sometimes you just have to take the time to find the proper items, but I think for my belly I have to do the same to find shirts that properly cover so I don't have fat hanging out. /shiver
As for bikini lines, well that is preference. There are a lot of men who do not like hairless, etc. But there are also people who think body hair tends to be ick. But most people will meet in the middle with well maintained.

It's all down to personal preference in the end I guess. And I had no idea that even bigger sized women could wear strapless bras. Just kinda assumed that the support provided by straps could not be replaced by 'just' a vertical bra. You live, you learn. I tend to be rather dense about woman things, having grown up without sisters.
