Gotta love research programs like these. In the 60's they had a small program on the possibility to make mice look and act like men. I'm not shitting you...they'd dress up mice in pinstriped suits with top hats and canes and try to get them to 'act human'. Awesome.

lol, why am I not surprised? The military's been known to throw money at all kinds of hare-brained crap. But y'know, one upon a time things like antibiotics, radar and space flight were hare-brained schemes too.
