I thought this was neat. It cleans the floor by inching along or something. ![]() http://www.engadget.com/2009/05/07/fuki ... cleaner-q/ |

Holy shit that is awesome. If the price is acceptable I'm totally getting one for my own place. No more wasting my precious back and efforts on vacuuming the damn place. |

err, automatic vacuums have been around for awhile. ![]() Shiny and I have owned several Roombas, actually, as well as a Scooba or two. However, they all eventually die a horrible death from pet hair, so we haven't actually had one in a year or two. Well, not counting the carcasses sitting out in the garage that shiny refuses to throw away. ![]() |

Yea - I seriously miss my roombas. We at one point had two roombas and one scooba. We had some clean floors! I think when we come back from New Orleans we should get a new one. I like that they are so small they even fit under bed and most furniture to clean. Talk about a time saver. |

Do you guys have wooden floors? Or stone? Or room-wide carpets? |

Carpet and Tile depending on the room. I probably should have done hardwood, but I like to lay on the floor, etc. and wanted something soft. Probably should have just gotten a nice rug. /sigh. We live and learn lmao. The scooba is for the washing of the floors with a clorex solution. The roomba just vacuums. |

No matter, it comes off pretty easily I would reckon, so if you ever want to change it won't be too hard. I personally avoid carpeted floors, or even rugs. I'm allergic to dust mites so I prefer minimalistic setup and wash/replace my sheets and pillow at regular intervals. If I don't, I spend the entire first 4 hours of a day sniffing and sneezing. ![]() |

Hehe...I could just take pills and shit too but I refuse. I rarely ever take medication, I think it's been over 5 years since I last popped a pill of any kind or some such. Oh wait, I lie: I took 2 painkillers when my wisdom tooth's sinew was infected. ![]() The only sedation I ever need is alcohol. ![]() |

You should try augmenting your alcohol with some pharmacological assistance. The results can be wonderful. Or nausea-inducing, but c'est la vie. Anyway, I don't medicate often. I try to avoid it when possible... I believe over-medication just weakens your bodies nature response. On the other hand, it doesn't make sense to suffer for extended periods of time if there's an out. |

True, true. And in my case that 'out' is just keeping dust out and buying matrasses and pillows that have been treated against dust mites (which aren't all that expensive compared to regular ones). ![]() /just filled 3rd handkerchief of the morning. God I hate this dusty room. ![]() |
