Dunno if you guys have head, but apparently NK popped a nuke that caused a 4.8 earthquake. Estimated yield (by Russia) is 10-20kt (kilotons). Yay...one of the most psychotic regimes on the planet is now nuclear. Next up: Iran.

Making a nuke isn't that hard. Making it small enough to fit it in a rocket is the hard part... unless they smuggle the device into a country to let it explode on the ground.

Didn't know it caused an earthquake but it's all over the news about how they're in big trouble with everyone and being internationally condemned.

This is the common ground needed for the us and russia to improve their relations, they now face a common threat. Well not so much russia but us (read: land of the free) will be more inclined to work together against such unpredictable element. Knowing russians they will most likely use this to their own ends.

I'm more worried about the Chinese than the Russians. I wish the Chinese would just invade the place. As much as I dislike the Chinese, they're better than the North Koreans.
