Heh...reminds me of IWD 1. Replaying it now, with a very witty/charismatic bard talking for the party...there's this one little quest where an alcoholic fisherman asks you to find him a bottle of booze. One of the answers is a full-fledged psychological discussion about how his addiction is just a means of escape from reality, and how he needs to 'break the cycle'. :) Spares you from finding a bottle, too. Good stuff.
