The older generations who tasted 2D before 3D came up. :wink:
This made me (re)install C64 emulator and look for some cool stuff I played about 20 years ago.

Heh, good old Atari...I remember playing Ikari Warriors on it and (in hindsight) expecting way too much depth from it compared to what was realistically expectable in that time and age. :roll:

I mean, I would try and beat the game on super-high difficulty etc, thinking that there must be some really cool stuff waiting for me at "the end" of the game.

Obviously, there wasn't. :evil: The game just kept getting more and more ridiculously hard. I don't even think it HAD an ending.

heh...I fondly remember playing ikari warriors in the arcade with the little swivel stick so you could run in one direction while shooting in another. Then I got it for pc and it just wasn't the same. :(
