Indeed. But we're more technical than the average person. I think they're more talking about soccer moms and whatnot instead of people in technology industries (or studies, or whatever).
It just goes to show that poor people are poor for a reason.

Story in Ars Technica, apparently there was a study done about internet search habits and such based on socio-economic status.
