hehe, not bad. I've never gotten the Best Buy shaft, though their sales people are retarded. I remember asking to see the LCD televisions and the guy pointed me to a tube tv that had a flat front. Yea, ok. If you don't know the difference between tube and LCD, you need to get a 30 minute training class or something. Anyway, I totally agree on the for-charge downloadable content. What a crock. This crap used to be value-added free stuff. Hell, some people still give out free crap. The Witcher, for instance, will be getting a massive face lift... for free for existing customers. |

Interesting point on Shortages. The biggest unmentioned shaft of all however is not letting people sell mods. |

Well, we're doing it with GTA IV, though it's actually true apparently. Sonic and Mario at the Olympic games sold 5million copies and about 4 months. GTA projected sales: 5 million copies in one week. I'm glad I work AT game so I can get me a copy. |

Duh... shafting me? They're shafting me? ![]() Nononono, misunderstanding. A big one. Call it what you want, but that's the advantage of being in southeast Europe. ![]() On the other side, you got to understand it. If ppl here had chance to pay it as cheap as Americans or Belgians, no crap would be probably happening. You know, it's kinda weird when you enter a shop on September 2007 and see Quake 4 costs 60€ ~ $94.5. |

Actually Satis, it was I who asked for an LCD and was directed to the tube TV's - I just figured the guy saw a chick and figured I didn't know better. |

yea, I guess that's possible. GFree...are you serious it's almost $100 for a two year old game? No wonder there's such a big black market in eastern Europe. That's just insane. |

No, it's just my black imagination. ![]() ![]() And really LOL for the LCD/CRT thing. I mean, the sellers here are dumb/"sly", but not that dumb/"sly". But in general it is true: many sellers don't know really what they are selling. They just... sell it. |

It would be nice if there was an equivalent for the second one. But you know, after you cross the city long and wide, finding just overcosted products, and you also don't have ability of buying online as easily and non-risky like the most of Europe, it is indeed easier to sit home and get yourself a torrent of what you want. |
