 Theme Partys
Well, thought I would share since I am avoiding leaving my house for work (it was supposed to be an ice day here.... /pout) that satis and I have started throwing theme parties along with our normal parties. Our friends seem to like that we throw parties that they can all get together and get drunk, so we figured we would start breaking up the norms a bit. The first of these will be hosted by us tomorrow evening. We are throwing a gangsta party. We will have old school movies like New Jack City, Menace to Society, Boyz in the Hood playing on our TV. We will be playing old school rap music. Serving Church's Chicken and sides. Dressing thug like, which satis and I will be both wearing sagging pants, and big gold chains. I will be handing out gang sign colored bandanas (sp?), gold chains, and fake pistols to all of our guests upon entry. We will also have 40's for the drinks along with md20/20, Cisco, Boones Farm strawberry hill. gin and juice, thunderbird. It should be good fun. Hopefully I will get some good pictures. You just never know how much time you will have - I am usually so busy serving drinks. We will have poster board up on the wall that has "fake" tags, so it looks like it was put on our wall.
We have a few other parties in the works. I want to throw a Star Wars themed party, mad hatter, and a few others as they pop into my head. Definitely an October fest, and maybe even a Pirate theme on National Talk like a pirate day. Ok, I really have to go to work or I'll be really late. See y'all.

I guess in USA a policeman may get sued for taking piss in gangster's garden, so they'd need a judge then too.

the party was a success. I'm quite drunk at 4am. As mentioned we drank 40s, wore gangsta attire and chilled like mad homies. Afterward we went to a strip club, a first for both Shiny and myself.
Y'know, it's alot like juicy girl clubs in Korea, except here the chicks rub naked tits in your face. I can't say I didn't like it. Some of those chicks were freakin' HOT. Shiny even got a lap dance. Next time I'll get one too.
We did take pics and video. We may put that online for everyone's enoyment.

Seems like it was a great party indeed. I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures.

Hey, that was pretty intelligible for being at 4am with be drunker than hell. Anyway, I realize there may be some confusion... the pictures and video or of the party, not the stripping. I doubt the strip club would be very happy about us bringing a video camera in.

So..... I figured I would note, Satis and I are about to have another Theme Party. This one in a few weeks. The theme party this time is Alice in Wonderland / Madhatter tea party. I have had a ton of fun planning it and buying things. Satis has an amazing costume too! We have a pretty big hookah, cheshire cat, tea pots filled with mixed drinks, a 4 layer cake, 2 cupcake trees, trippy liquid light projectors, huge mushroom chairs, medium mushrooms scattered about, etc.
I am thinking and will probably do start a party planning business. I have so much fun doing it and I have really purchased a pretty good party serving setup throughout all of our parties. My mother has asked me to throw her a luau as a sort of coming out party. And it seems out of several of my mothers friends that have heard about my skills want to hire me without even seeing the results. Yay! Unfortunately at least for a while I will still have to keep my full time job thing, but I think it will be fun. Satis wants me to do all the actual business stuff like an LLC, so it seems any $ I'd make would be thrown right back towards the business for a while.
So, Cheers! Wish you all could be here.

Well once again it sounds great! And I say go for it, if you're having this much fun doing it then why not? You certainly don't seem short of ideas either

Well.... I don't know if you all care of not but.... I now own a domain for my party company. Although it is still blank. I have started sketching out kinda what I would like the website to look like so I can try to have Satis build it for me. The Luau I have been planning is like two weeks away, so I'd like at least some sort of something on the site to direct people to go to for contact information.
I also have two other parties I am planning in the works for others. One will be very easy since they also wanted a luau, and the other is a Birthday party, but I have not figured out the theme for that one yet.
I love this stuff. Unfortunately I badly need to invest in some storage, because my garage is getting very full of party stuff. I want to start picking up fun stuff like a margarita machine and such. Anything to keep the booze flowing. I bet I could even write off a keg-r-ator thingy..... on of the portable ones.
Anyway - once I get something on the site (again Satis - poor guy) I will post a link for you all to check out and make suggestions.

Sounds pretty cool Shiny!! Love the enterpreneurial spirit...I'm sure there's still some paperwork involved for you too, but if you try to put something like that up in Belgium (or most countries in Western Europe) you'd soon be hopelessly lost in the rules, regulations and taxation complications. But hat off to your effort, I hope you can make it into a flourishing little business!
Looking forward to the site.
