ok...so I mentioned it in another thread somewhere but my wonderful chick-a-doodle got me a nice widescreen lcd. I'm loving it. I also bought myself a Harman Kardon sound system today (stereo thing)....oooh baby. Got it working today after a couple hours of plugging crap in and figuring out why stuff didn't work. It has some unfortunate drawbacks (like the inability to mix an HDMI video input with analog audio), but it's NICE. It's loud and it sounds really, really good.

Heh - well he did give me cash to go shopping with for my birthday a couple of weekends ago - when I even left town on a girls only trip to go tubing and shopping so figured he needed his nice new toy. I got like 6 pairs of shoes after all.

We've been watching Lord of the Rings again.. oh man, it sounds GOOD. Anyway, I've actually been saving my cash for awhile for this thing. My old one was slowly dying for the last year or so.

Our TV sometimes blacks out and shows these red lines (sometimes blue), i hope it lasts a bit longer. My birthday is only in december. So lets hope it dies slowly, very slowly.

May I strongly recommend an LCD tv. :) Once you go flat you'll never go back. Or something. Anyway, there's only one tube display left in the house. Any time I see one now I think about how antiquated it looks.

But we have only ever watched that tv like 10 times and it is only a year oldish. not even actually I think. And, no neither Satis nor I are debt based people - he is obviously being a guy better at it than me but we just save up for our big stuff for the most part.
