Anyway, there was a riot here, vandals broke windows, robbed and one russian idiot managed to get himself killed. Estimated damage is 40 million Kroons (1€=15,6EEK).

The whole idea behind the riot was that a monument for the men who fought in WW2 was moved to a more appropriate spot, untill few days ago it was smack middle in the downtown. So the russian community, thanks to some people, started rioting.

But the real reason was that Nazi occupation changed to Communist occupation eventhough you'll never see a russian admit that, they all go "we liberated you" shit, anyway the only real difference was that gas chambers were exchanged for massive transportation of estonian people to all over Russia, mostly siberia or whatever it is in english. In the end its not much different from gas chamber, most of the people died there one way or the other.

So the point is Estonians couldnt take it anymore that every year a bunch of drunken russians gather in the middle of the city singing songs and waving the red russian flags and wearing COMMUNIST military uniforms, basically doing everything that reminded estonians of the communist occupation.

And they call estonians faschists eventhough the russians are selling Nazi symbolics.

In the end it was just an excuse to cause alot of mayhem and steal and break shit.

On the 8th or 9th of May there is a reopening of the monument in the cemetary of military (basically its the place where all the important people for our country are buried). Attending will be lots of officials from the Allied nations of WW2.

Its difficult to say, the statue was made by an estonian artist, the person who auditioned for it, was probably estonian but the statue, i think, was commisioned by Russians to commemorate those who died "liberating" the world from Naziz. But take a wild guess who were the people in Soviet army.

You can check videos of "estonian police brutality" on youtube. And the biggest LoL is russian delegation speaking of human rights. And that 1 fatality, he was probably stabbed by his own friends who were so drunk they couldnt tell the difference. Russians and alcohol is like napalm.

I haven't followed the news that closely the past few days, but i do pick up most of what's on and i can't see i've heard anything about this.

Anyway a bunch of russian speaking people attacked the Swedeish ambassador car today in MOSCOW, causing cosmetic damage and ripping of the swedeish flag from the car.

This event took place near the Estonian embassy in moscow. The Estonian embassy has shut down all consular operations excluding those available to citizens of Estonia.

According to international treaties, the host country has to take every action possible to safekeep foreign embassies, which the russians are obviously not doing. It is a direct violation of Vienna convention or smthing.

Edit: In later news, some russians actually managed to get inside the embassy using some side window or something.

Ok at some point you might hear russians saying our police used FLAILS and MACES (omg LOL, i couldnt stop laughing when i heard this). Not only that, claims will be made that police beat up children and women (please, we are not in Russia where OMON beats up everyone and 12hours later after more beating starts asking questions).

Anyway, i think this video clearly shows how police uses FLAILS and MACES to combat rioters. Make no mistake 90% of these people are Estonians but they will always remind us of over 50 years of Soviet occupation.
