Post subject:  BBC Articles Annoying

I've recently been getting a bit miffed by some of the writing for the BBC online news articles, which I frequently read.

I tought I'd see what you guys think.
BBC wrote:
French President Jacques Chirac has condemned violence that led to the shooting of a French football fan by a plain-clothes police officer.

The policeman, who is black, fired into the crowd after he was physically attacked while seeking to protect a fan from anti-Semitic abuse, officials say.

Is that really necessary? I'm struggling to find the relevance, even though there seems to be some racial tone to the event.

you in England appear to be picking up all the liberal BS that American news has been spouting for years now. :) Don't worry, totally to be expected. As is the anti-PC backlash that'll eventually come. I wouldn't concern myself.

No, Derf is right...I don't think that his skin colour is irrelevant given the circumstances he was in, but I do find the wording unnecessary. Right now it's almost as if they're saying 'the policeman, because he is black, ...' There would have been better ways of phrasing this fact.

Besides, the guys who got shot were clearly part of a bunch of lowlife nazi scumbag hooligans...while I don't encourage killing ppl, you won't hear me boo-hoo the dude who got killed. Fucking fascists got what was coming. :)

*resurrection*

Omg! This is the final straw! I have hereby removed my BBC news feed from my ffx browser (http://newsrss.bbc.co.uk/rss/newsonline ... d/rss.xml#). If things get like this for the televised BBC news, i'll do what I did for Sky and CNN, not watch them anymore. Soon there wont be any news channels left for me!!! :D

Have a quick glance at this article and tell me if it's not the most blatant form of distustingly obvious propaganda:

BBC wrote:

An ex-employee of a company with links to Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has said he created a video attacking Hillary Clinton.

BBC Image Caption wrote:

1. The ultimate focus of the whole article is uttery pointless.
2. The accusation and subjects have laughable credibility.
3. The article is riddled with not so subtle biased and persuasive remarks.

Now, imagine you are a voter, un-opinonated, some spare minutes on your hands, and an ignorance about politics and ideology in general.... What you will probably do is read this, access YouTube, watch the video, think badly both of Obama and Clinton because you've failed to see the sheer irrelevancy of this matter behind the novelty and spin, resulting in trench-like skepticism and a finishing in a republican vote.
