I did a google on him and got a lot of not really informative links, what I made of it is that he's a controversial MP or something. So not really with the vibe here, I'm afraid...
Hey, would it be inherently wrong to say that I googled and found information, yet it was informative? Is information always informative?

George Galloway was an Labour MP that opposed the war in Iraq and rumours have it that it was because he had a close friendship wih Saddam. He then commited in a lot of people's minds what may be considered treason by stating that our soldiers should help the Iraqis fight our own government- he then left the Labour party and formed Respect- a political party agaiinst the Iraq war. He went to America to defend himself and by the sound of it managed to do this very well. Recently he joined Celebrity Big Brother in an effort to promote his party to the people. Channel 4 has actually censured this and has further humilated him by making him imitate a cat. In all he's someone to watch for a bit of humour.

Thats not surprising. He's not the biggest issue on the world agenda at the moment.

He's well known in the UK but I'm not surprised elsewhere tho I would have thought Satis may have heard of him in passing.
