Ever wanted to know if there's life on Mars or how the sun is heated?
Check the Book of Knowledge.

holy jesus...I always wondered how people explained the sun in the 1920s. :p No wonder that generation was so screwed up.

It's so hot on the sun that nothing can join with anything else. Like the oxygen that's on the sun. And it's so hot because it contracts, because of gravity. Thank god for science.

I don't understand Gfree's joke

My link isn't so much funny as awesome: amateur russian street daredevils. Some of the stuff this kid does is totally insane, like crawl a straight wall or step up between two walls. Shit looks like the matrix, but then for real and low-budget. :P After a minute or so you get a few seconds of mashed image but then he starts doing the real crazy stuff. Enjoy. :)

Hehe, yeah....and I linked that vid to Mole, I'll sure the bastard for not properly citing his source! (me :P ) To show that I'm a forgiving man, i'll give him a second chance. Use MLA.

hehe.

Not really funny as such, but morons at work. Couple of examples from this week just gone:

Case 1: I'm a tightass

It's about 9.15, first customer walks in. She heads to the PC section for a couple mins, then approaches me and Liz at the counter.
Woman: "Hi, I bought FEAR on PC for my boyfriend just before christmas, and it was £35. I see you now have it for £20"
... bit of a silence. Me and Liz expecting her to go on. Finally, we realise she's waiting for a response.
Me: "Well, yes, its in the sale at the moment" (well january sales ARE a tradition over here...)
Woman: "But it was £20 before Christmas"
Me: "Well our sale started the wednesday before Christmas"
Woman: "Will it go back up after the sale?"
Me: "I just don't know until head office send the prices out, but its very likely"

Well finally after another 10 minutes of her bitching (god forbid anything ever get cheaper) she finally pisses off, after a snide comment about "it doesn't even run that well on his pc" and after that, I find that we were wrong, its not in the sale, its just £20 anyway ;) haha, silly bitch

Case 2: Jack Thompson may be onto something!

Kid about 10 wants to trade in a game for San Andreas. Game only gives him £3 off, so he wants the preowned copy for £15. I of course tell him that he needs someone older to buy it. His dad comes over. I ask if its ok by him to let the kid have the game. This is followed by about 10 minutes of the following, during which time me and Liz are standing there feeling completely embarassed:

Dad: Well I have to bloody say yes don't I!!!
Me: It's entirely up to you
Kid: Shut up dad, just shut up!
Dad: I bloody have to let you have it!
Kid: Shut up!
Dad: You alreayd have it at your grans!
Kid: So what, i can sell it, shut up, just shut the hell up!

I don't believe video games cause murderers, but even I think that this kid playing a GTA game can only be detrimental...[/b]
