Bioshock could be considered as an economic model with quite disastrous outcome. Well its kind of difficult to explain but as you listen to the tapes and compare the background info with real economies, the mind really starts to wonder. What could they have done differently, what were the key aspects of economical and social collapse, how did the separation of powers work, how and why did the power divide, did the people rapture have any control at all.

Perhaps in 20 or 40 years from now they will be using bioshock in textbooks as an exercise or something.
