Or social inequality.
Or religious persecution.
Or unfair governmental practices.
Or economic hardship.
Or about 10,000 other things, I'm sure. It's not all that hard to piss people off, and once they're mad, all it takes is a spark to set them on fire.

Unless the French govenment do something to help combat racism in their country it is likely that this will happen again.

It's not so much racism as social inequality, but then, those two are closely connected.
