lmao. I'm sure a slew of lawsuits is to follow.

Found some bug videos from Red Dead Redemption (console GTA-like Western shooter). Seems like the game has a problem with models merging and swapping...some are hilarious, some are creepy as fuck.

The Mexican gunslinger coyote (highlight: him giving you a leg-up and generally talking with a Mexican accent and running)

The donkey lady (woman with donkey face and behavior)

The cougar man (this shit is fucked up. He runs around his knees, face-up, with his arms trucking at his sides)

The bird woman (flying in the air, flapping her arms...)

:O

I thought they had rigid testing protocols for console games.

love the boat. The hamsters with rabies is hilarious. What'll be funny is when the guy that got bit starts foaming at the mouth.

Quote:
Retail threatens Steam ban

‘We will refuse to sell Steam games’ blast High Street giants; Digital distributors losing customers to giant rival

The world's biggest digital distribution platform for games is under attack.

MCV understands that key retailers will drop titles that integrate the popular Steam service as fears mount that the service has a ‘monopoly’ on the download market.

Insiders say Steam, run by US studio Valve, serves a massive 80 per cent of the PC download sector. And retailers preparing their own rival platforms don’t want that share to grow any more.

Some of the biggest PC games – such as Call of Duty and Fallout – use Steam. But retailers are concerned that selling games with the tech built-in pushes users towards only buying games via Valve going forward.

At least two major retailers will demand that publishers remove Steam from their games – or they will not sell them in any form.
Article continues below

“If we have a digital service, then I don’t want to start selling a rival in-store,” said the digital boss at one of the biggest UK games retailers.

“Publishers are creating a monster – we are telling suppliers to stop using Steam in their games.”

The head of sales at a big-name digital service provider agreed: “At the moment the big digital distributors need to stock games with Steam. But the power resides with bricks and mortar retailers, they can refuse to stock these titles. Publishers are hesitant, but retail must put pressure on them.”

Gaikai CEO David Perry told MCV Steam could become the games-equivilent of iTunes, where it dictates the terms of the market, not the other way around: “Steam has made it so easy for everyone and they have lots of users. But how long do you wait before you take control of your own digital strategy? Like with iTunes, at some point it’s going to be too late.”

Makes old PA comic very prophetic

Crybabies.

Digital distribution is still a relatively novel service, so to assume you have the usual conventional rights to market penetration is unrealistic.

Yea, I read about that. Some supposition is that the "two retailers" is actually Game and Game-somethingelse-thats-owned-by-Game. They're welcome to try, but I think Steam will win that fight. Not that there's aren't major issues with Steam, but just trying to outlaw a competitor that's so well established really isn't going to work.

Wait wait wait.

Game do digital downloads as well! What the fuck are they complaining about? Ugh I work for them and I'm getting sick of them.

I was really glad in the Hamster video that they put it back afterward. That thing was awesome.

Meh if up (or down) doesn't rotate your block and i can't use space to drop it, i give up.

Reminds me of tetrinet, anyone ever played this?

I just realised, your version of tetris J is all wrong! Pressing Up should cause the block to drop directly to the bottom in one frame of animation. Pressing down should cause it to fall faster, but still give you time to move it!

Ox, that Animated Gif is AMAZING.

Ehm, how are you rotating your blocks then Mole?

Been a (long) while since i played tetrinet, but you need 2 keys to rotate your blocks (both ways) since speed is essential. And i don't think you needed to get it to drop a bit faster so you could move a block under another one, that just took too much time.

Almost tempted to install it again.
