Glad you enjoyed the show. I personally hate both bands but each to their own. I know I certainly have some odd taste in music.

Saw another gig last night you guys might be a little more interested in, Rammstein!

Not as huge a fan of them as I am Green Day/Nickelback so personally it wasn't the best concert I've been to but it is, without a doubt, the most amazing stage show I've seen so far. Again, I'll post links to the pics/vids when I put them up on Facebook but wow. Seriously wow. The keyboard guy went crowd surfing in a dingy! And tons of pyrotechnics were used, incredibly impressive show.

It goes to show how much other bands waste time as well. Green Day/Nickelback played roughly 2.5 and 2 hours respectively but there was lots of "woooo birmingham, we're gonna blah blah blah we're awesome blah blah" filling in talk. With Rammstein they started at about 9 and were doing the 'make us ask for an encore' bit by 10.10 and probably finished in the end about 10.30, but there was no talking. They just came out, sang, arsed around in the solos and then sang some more.

Oh and there were dolls with lasers on their heads and at the end of the song, the dolls exploded. Unfortunately I forgot to video this

That penis cannon looks more like a giant bottle. I'm not totally digging the new album though, it's good overall, but I miss the instantly great songs that albums like Mutter and Reise Reise had.

Yeah those are the albums I know. Mole has the new album but I haven't listened to it yet, other than Pussy, but that song is bloody awesome live.

Pussy is an awesome song, imo. I also like Ich Tu Dir Wen and Haifisch quite a bit. I even like Roter Sand. The rest of the songs go from not so great to pretty good, imo. Overall I think this album is as good as the original Rammstein album.

Great to hear you liked the concert Pev! More than just liked it apparently even. I've seen them live once back when they were still in their early years of fame and while their shows didn't have the same amount of pyrotechnics and penis cannons (heh), they were already a hell of a ride. Some sort of twisted mix between a wall of sounds, thumping drums, good melodies and dark humor and over-the-top acting.
