I have NO issue with Gays. I worry when people do. People are people. Some are more jerks than others. Some of my best friends are gay, or at least bi. Why should it matter what happens in their bedrooms versus mine.

Name not really, got some ideas, but it's damn hard to really pick a name. Since the kid will have to live with it it's whole life.

As for names - yea that is hard. You don't want them walking around with a name that everyone else has (like me). That sucks because especially in school or in larger offices someone will have my name and yell down the hall and you never know if it was meant for you or the other person. Plus I have been friends with so many people with my name... that in my friend group people will say my name and then have to clarify which one. (In the most recent one we could not even use height or hair color as we had the same color and are both very tall.) They started calling her boobs and me butt. Nice to be known as the ass or for your ass depending on how you look at it.

As for Satis - well nobody says his name correctly at least around here. I get so tired of them butchering it. We are taking a class on computer graphics together this semester and the prof. always says it incorrectly and it bothers me.

btw, just for the record, though I'm straight I don't care if someone is gay or not. I've had gay friends and many times they were better friends than many of my straight friends. Both male and female. Judging someone on their sexual orientation is like judging someone based off their country of origin.

I've no probs with people's LGBT existences either. But with gay parades already. That they are sort of 'odd' is entirely their thing, and it should remain that way. What about preventing kids taste porn content before they reach certain age? From the same reason they shall be shortened for the gay content visible on the streets and let to find out on their own what they are.

So you're saying that gay pride parades should be forbidden in order not to expose children to homosexuality? I disagree. It's not like you will turn gay because you saw homosexuals acting like a fool in the street when you were young. Doesn't work that way.

I personally think that your average gay pride parade is tasteless and self-stigmatizing for the gay community, and I know that quite a few gay people cringe at the thought of them too. But as far as gay rights go, I'm all for it. Marriage, raising children, adoption, whatever.
