yea, sorry dude, that image is a no-go. mmm...food. They made BBQ squid on the sidewalks in Korea (ie...on a grill that was on the sidewalk, for you crazy people). It was so good. I miss it. By the time it was finished it was almost like beef jerky (assuming you guys know what that is), but with a squid flavor.

I've had some packet beef jerky before. I have to say I didnt quite understand it. It looks and tastes like wartime food, but if I compare it to any other kind of instant snack, it wins every time. Its not particularly fatty stuff is it?

Speaking of grandma specialties, I could mention a special way of preparing pork/beef. For shame, I was too small to pay more attention to the details in preparation process, but the result was a massive, uniform, dark outside colored, mostly without fat piece of meat. In literal translation from Serbian, the name would be "dried meat".

fuck yeah. Meat is king.
Back in the Czech Republic, they took pride in their meat. They couldn't cook for squat on the whole, but they frakking aced grilling meat and burgers. Most bars and even restaurants have their own 'hamburger' menu, some of them delicious. And the steakhouses...I had 2 pounds of rumsteak on my last day there. And now I'm hungry for steak at 9 AM.
