I've heard both a lot of positive and negative things about Brüno. I'll check it out though, I liked Borat too.

Another movie I just have to see is Lesbian Vampire Killers. What I've heard and seen of it, it's a bit like Shaun of the Dead in subject and humour, and if this has got a better ending then Shaun, I'll enjoy myself with it.

Wait, are the vampires lesbians? Or the vampire killers? :P Not that it changes the awesomeness a whole lot!

Watched Dune. 1984. defenatly my kind of movie.

One of my favorite movies ever. Even though the books are totally better.

Also, the scifi mini series was really good and went into more detail than Dune the movie.

Haven't seen Dune. Hi 11b.

Watched "The Thing" last night until about 3am. Awesome film. Who needs computer animated effect?

Dune is one of my favorite movies and book series of all time. Only read the Frank Herbert Dune books... heard too much trash about his son's attempts to even bother with it.

I love the first movie... it was epic, even though it strayed from the subject matter. The sci fi channel movies were more true to the source material but lacked the $$$ to really shine. Too bad, too. If they could've had the funding they needed they would've been pure awesome in powdered form, ready for entry into my nasal cavities.

Yes, they are both very good. I haven't read the book though.

There's actually a whole series of books, though the original Dune movie (and original Sci-fi remake) only cover the first in the series. The second sci-fi dune move, children of dune, is based off the 3rd Dune book. The second Dune book just covers the 'fall' of Paul Atreides and isn't really covered in any movie or tv show that I'm aware of.

Not quite out yet, but the trailer for the vampire scifi movie Daybreakers looks pretty damn awesome

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9roxtugaUo

Basically virtually the entire world is a vampire and the few true humans alive are being milked for blood - but they can't keep doing it forever.

I like the premise. :)

First footage of the extremely ambitious Tron sequel that Disney is pumping hideous amounts of cash into. Looks pretty damn cool if you ask me. :D

I saw a cammed version of that footage a year or so ago. Still, nice to get it with decent picture and sound. I'm hoping it's gonna be awesome. But it's Disney....how long's it been since Disney had a decent movie?
