Call me stupid but I just don't get it. What is all over the car? (Ferry harbor is what I don't get) It looks like ice.
If the car was underwater, the accumulator should've died.

Yes it is indeed Ice.
There was a rainstorm and slightly negative degrees of air temperature. Accumulator is the least of worries, i mean the doors are frozen shut, tires are frozen to the tarmac, that car is a frozen corpse

Wow, that's some serious ice. Be pretty cool so long as nothing of mine was permanently damaged. :p

Ah ok, then, everything that possibly happened is (most probably) cheaply fixable. I wouldn't worry much if it were my car, but would DAMN consider where I will park it the next time.
And that ice is cool.

Why does this remind me of the walking brooms in fantasia? They are so cute!

Does this not remind anybody else of the Phillip K. Dick book?
Interesting - I wonder if the book is what made some researcher decide to try to build / test such a device?

I wouldnt classify that story as funny, Shiny. That is some problematic stuff.

it's kinda cool though. Imagine headphones that user lasers / microwaves instead of speakers. No more magnets and you can make solid state lasers so no moving parts or anything, and they could be very very small (assuming the energies necessary aren't insane). Anyway, sounds cool to me. Though freakish in a military sense.

I know it was not exactly "funny" but I didn't want to make a new topic for them and I didn't want to go looking for the book section or something because I was at work and had to somewhat sneek it in.

hah... my company has something similar to that hanging in a hallway. Only difference is it's a sailboat.

Not exactly fun (especially if you're standing under it), but certainly impressive: a windmill going out of control.

Now, that was an example of bad engineering job.
