Yeah. It is disgusting because it is the first time I see an insect overpowering, killing and eating a mammal. I think you wouldn't need a gun to kill / intimidate that thing, Sat. Just make sure it doesn't catch you at sleep for you may be screwed for 1-2cm² of skin before you react.
Btw, has anyone of you already met giant rats that are about *5kg (correction, my bad) in weight and for +50% bigger than average domestic cat? Offff course that such beings exist. That's not a rat, it's a possum. We have those here in Texas. The bald tail make them seem somewhat rat like, but they're really not. They hang from trees by the tails and crap. Odd creatures.

The one in the video defenatly looks like possum, also known more commonly in US as "roadkill". The biggest rat ive seen here is slightly bigger than average male fist.

nah, i've never seen a monster rat. All the ones I've seen have been fairly small. Mice are more common, but those are of course tiny.
