Since when have americans complained about the Muslims for trusting in their God??

It's not like americans hate every muslim cause they're a muslim, they and most other people don't like some muslims cause they're terrorists....

....bloody (wannabe) italiens

Exactly.

In fact, I dont like anyone that wants to drive a plane into a building or blow up trains.

I couldnt agree more.

However, realise that religion plays a part in both sides of the conflict, not just one.

Idd...if you would reverse roles, with the US being the less powerful fraction fighting a muslim super-power there'd be an akin situation.

Of course, the US seems to be less fanatic about religion, but one could wonder how thin that line becomes when you've got nothing else left than religion.

No, i'm pretty sure there'd be bombings and such just as well. We can only hope that the fanatics nowadays call it a day and retire and go fishing or summit.

Hmm i'm not so sure the major American religion, i.e. Christianity, plays such a big part in the ongoing conflict. It's more about money than faith on the americans part, if you ask me.

Whereas muslims do blame religion and capitalism etc.

Yes, if the US was a clever enough state to be religiously inactive, then perhaps the conflict would have deemed differently.

exactly, but i'm just saying that things might be the exact reverse when their positions and strengths were the other way around. Basically, every human being that's cornered starts to act very freaky, not only these.

Who immedeately decided to chicken out of Iraq.

Just like the leader of the Dutch socialists, Wouter Bos, who suddenly is against prolonging the stay of Dutch soldiers in Iraq, although that has absolutely nothing to do with the bombings. I wonder if he even believes that himself.
Stupid populist. Luckily he isn't in charge.
