lol...jeez. Anyway, I think a centralized depository of extremely high quality textures would be a good thing. How many people have redone the "red brick with white mortar" texture? The only difference is some are really crappy. And with shaders and stuff, making even a texture like that can be time consuming and difficult.

And if you have 15 different varieties of it available, getting the cookie cutter game feeling should be minimal, imo. Sell models of telephones, televisions, chairs, tables, umbrellas, boots, socks, dressers, lamps, tables, etc etc etc etc. With a dozen different varieties of each.

Anyway...I think it would be cool, if you could get at least one big firm to bite on a licensing model of some sort. All it would take is one bite...then the rest would have to do it too or be left in the dirt.

haha...I lack the capability, I'm afraid. Making textures takes more than just getting a digi cam and snapping pics of various textures...now you have to deal with shaders and bump mapping and all that crap too. And modeling is a ping in the ass. And skinning is even harder. :)

a tad off subject, of course... but I didn't make the packet pocket rhyme. That's part of a large piece of work.

Quote:
When a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port, and the bus is interrupted as a very last resort, and the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort, then the socket packet pocket has an error to report.

If your cursor finds a menu item followed by a dash, and the double-clicking icon puts your window in the trash, and your data is corrupted 'cause the index doesn't hash, then your situation's hopeless and your system's gonna crash!

When the copy of your floppy's getting sloppy on the disk, and the macrocode instructions cause unnecessary risk, then you have to flash your memory and you'll want to RAM your ROM. Quickly turn off the computer and be sure to tell your Mom.

If the label on the cable on the table at your house, says the network is connected to the button on your mouse, but your packets want to tunnel on another protocol, that's repeatedly rejected by the printer down the hall, And your screen is all distorted by the side effects of gauss, so your icons in the window are as wavy as a souse, then you may as well reboot and go out with a bang, 'cause as sure as I'm a poet, the sucker's gonna hang!

There's one I did make up but I don't think I'm gonna share that one.
