to conferences... perhaps. not to stores. Stores literally have it running a demo off a disk, hence no need to save it, hence no need to pratt around giving out any of the nice £70 hdds.

Saw a LOT of xbox 360's yesterday with a lot of different games running, and they didn't seem that unstable. It looked really nice, really really really nice indeed.

I saw the one in GAME the other day, and it was damned sexy graphics. And these are only single threaded games, given that it has 3 cores, I forsee a lot more power for it.

seen it on a hdtv J? Thats what we have on our pod, and MY GOD. I've only seen the frigging menu (its always switched off when I'm not working *sulk*) but it looked damned nice even just like that!

lol...console cheats! I'll ban you from the pc game forums! :p Haven't seen any yet. I'm sure they're sweet. I'm also sure in 6 months the PC will be that good and better.

And your PC doesn't require a fucking expensive HDTV to look pretty. The arguement that consoles are cheaper then PC's always appear strange to me. With a 400$ console and a $900 TV it looks quite expensive to me.

You don't have to have the TV. Just like you don't have to have an LCD monitor, but sure, it won't look as good. I'm not going in to the whole console/pc thing again, because no one can change my mind, so theres no point.

hehe...if it was free, I'd get one....it and the tv, and the games. :p Anyway, consoles are a different world...people can love them or whatever.
